I was 32 years old, after a painful breakup with someone who I truly believed was going to be my future husband. I remember that feeling of being 'back to square one' again, of starting all over... Looking at my life, i had no home, no clear career path, not much in the bank, just me and my beloved dog, Bella. This is how I stepped into the new chapter of my life.

I remember starting to be obsessed with the idea of ‘being left behind’ when I was volunteering in a co-working space focused on financial initiatives, at a time I couldn't really afford to volunteer. I remember watching these guys fiercely building their future billion-dollar companies, shaping the financial world, and then there was me… volunteering.

The image of me, sitting there volunteering, while these guys were on the highway to making millions... this was when I decided, I won't be left behind.
